Design Portfolio
The websites below are ones we've created for existing clients. They provide some examples of how we'll go about creating your new website.
Hairganic Mobile Hairdressing - September 2009
Hairganic Mobile Hairdressing Service had firm ideas about what they wanted their site to look like. They also had a wide array of images for use on the site, both from suppliers of their products and photographs of work they had done. It was easy to acommodate their requirements and material with this design, presenting not just their services but their philosophy.
One non-standard feature of this site was the pop-up photo gallery, which cycles through pictures of hair models. While pop-up screens and galleries that cycle through pictures are often overused in website design, the effect was entirely appropriate here.

Dyson Blinds - August 2009
Dyson Blinds had an existing website, but were looking for a more modern design and to add some additional pages. The existing design was not optimized for search engines, so this was another key benefit of getting their site re-vamped.
The only element of the old site the client wanted to keep was the logo - their name in the distinctive Bladerunner font. We wanted the client's business to be clear from a single look at the homepage, so we used a simple white roller blind as the background for the title and navigation menu, being pulled down by a hand that disappeared behind the content of the page.

Robinson Site Services - July 2009
Robinson Site Services provide demolition, groundwork and plant hire services throughout the UK. They wanted a website to raise their profile online and form the basis of their web presence. It was also important that the site was maximised for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), so that people could easily find it when searching online. The only design requirement was to have a red title to match their logo, so we designed the site around the colour schemes of the machines that carried that logo.
Robinson Site Services' website is another good example of the Basic Website Package. To visit the site for a further look, click on the screenshot or go to robinsonsiteservices.co.uk.
O-Mesa
O-Mesa provide Tui Na Therapeutic Chinese Massage and wanted a website to provide information on Tui Na and the health benefits it can provide. The design brief was flexible, with bamboo and Chinese symbols such as yin-yang the only elements suggested for inclusion. After deciding that the information should be presented on a mottled paper background, a thick black frame completed the picture.
O-Mesa's website is a prime example of the Basic Website Package - a five page site containing information that seldom changes. To visit the site for a further look, click on the screenshot or go to o-mesa.co.uk.
Yorkshire Diamond Cleaning Company
The Yorkshire Diamond Cleaning Company website was created in association with Tribe Associates. The graphical design of the site was done by Tribe and we developed it into a website, complete with the spinning diamonds in the sidebar which had been asked for. This site incorporates some of the most recent advances in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to give the contact form rounded corners in the most up to date browsers such as Firefox 3 and Safari.
